Dr. Satish Rohra is an eminent Scholar, Sindhi Short Story Writer and Critic. He was Professor of Hindi at Banaras Hindu University and also Professor of Hindi and Indian culture at George Town University Ghyana. West Indies. After retirement he came back to his old town of Gandhidham, where he took over as a trustee of Indian Institute of Sindhology. Dr. Rohra has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including Sindhi Literature Award instituted by Sahyog Foundation. At Present he is Vice Chairman of Indian Institute of Sindhology/ Bharti Sindhu Vidyapeeth.

Kamlesh Moorjani born in Sindh in 1944, completed his engineering education in Ahmedabad. He won many Gold medals, secured first class first in University and also Gold for securing first position in Sindhi Language in Gujarat State. After working as an engineer in Kandla Port Trust for 12 years, Kamlesh moved to Dubai, UAE, as Chief engineer of a major construction co. After doing his MBA (Hons) from Washington DC in 1990, he settled down in Toronto, Canada, where he worked on many projects with Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in addition to managing his own business. He was President of Sindhi cultural Association of Toronto, President of Sadhu Vaswani Center, Toronto, Director of Toronto Sindhi Gur Mandir Board and Vice-President of Alliance of Sindhi Associations of America, inc. currently, he is Vice-President of International Sindhu Chamber of Commerce. He is recipient of ‘Millennium Life Time Achievement Award’ instituted by the Federations of Worldwide Sindhi Panchayats in year 2001.

Prof. Pritam Varyani, after retiring from Deccan College, Pune, has come back to his home town, Gandhidham where he had started his career as teacher. He is one of the most dedicated educationist and social worker. At present he is in charge of Sindhi teaching courses being conducted by Sindhoogy all over India.

Mr. Lal Hardasani is the Managing Director of Lal’s Insurance Brokers Ltd – Hong Kong. Which is one of the reputable and well known Indian Insurance Brokerage Company in Far-East and Middle-East. He is the past Chairman of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Managing Trustee of Hindu Temple in Hong Kong. He is also one of the Founder of Sindhi Association of Hong Kong and China. He has dedicated his life for the promotion of Sindhi Language and Culture.

Mr. Sahib Bijani is a lover of Sindhi literature and music. He has all the details of “Sindhyat” at his finger tips. An architect by profession, he left Delhi and settled at Maleer Artist Village, which he has designed along with Sadhu Hiranand Navalrai Academy, an International Residential School. He looks after the library and Documentation center.

Mr. Lakhmi Khilani is a Sindhi Writer, Artist, recipient of Sahitya Academy Award for his short story collection “Gufa Je Hun Par”. He has left Calcutta and is settled at Gandhidham and is one of the founder Trustee of Indian Institute of Sindhology.
